American Kargo is proud to support the sport :: A few words below from Craig Delong the most recent recipient of the AK top Amateur Award.

“The Limestone GNCC in Springville, Indiana started out great for me. I pulled the holeshot off the start and lead for about the first 3 miles. Unfortunately I took a different line that was slower and moved back to second place. Within a few miles l worked my way back up to first place, made the pass, moving back into the lead. For the first hour and a half I was battling it out Austin Lee and Mike Witkowksi. After the pit stop I pulled away from them, pushing my lead to about 35 to 40 seconds going into the final hour. The last lap I picked up the pace and boosted my lead to a minute thirty.”

“The track was perfect. The dirt was good, but the ground there was slick in some spots and dry in others. My Husqvarna TC 250 was running great, not missing a beat. My suspension worked great thanks to Evan Yarnall at Solid Performance. Taking the Top Amateur award for the third time is a great feeling. It proves to people that I am more capable of doing 3 hours and a serious contender. It’s also a goal that I have had since I first started to race the GNCCs and to finally achieve that is a awesome feeling.”
